THE ESSACA association was born from the desire to create an architectural training school with a presence in Central Africa and to carry out activities related to the architectural professions with a view to promoting the development and better living of populations.

Her goal is:
− To ensure training in architecture and architectural professions, improvement and retraining for architectural professions, the promotion of bio-sourced materials and the preservation of the environment.
− To advise and support in the field of architecture, administrations and institutions, local authorities, higher education establishments and businesses.​

Scientific Committee
The ESSACA Scientific Committee is a consultative body which aims to issue opinions and recommendations on the scientific orientations of ESSACA in the prospective approach. It constitutes the technical and ethical conscience of ESSACA in the socio-economic dimension of its educational commitment.

He monitors ESSACA's activities and makes proposals relating to the School's educational actions. The updating of the School's orientations is examined during the Scientific Committee Sessions.

It is made up of honorary members, full members and can welcome special guests during sessions. The members of the Scientific Committee are external personalities, representatives of partners and professionals in particular from the Union of Architects of Africa and the National Order of Architects. Members are co-opted by the Board of Directors and from among architects, urban planners, geographers, historians, ethnologists, anthropologists, philosophers, economists, intellectuals, etc.

Pedagogical Committee
Since 2017, the Pedagogical Committee has replaced the former Department of Studies and Pedagogy.

​Appointed by the Board of Directors, the Teaching Committee has the following missions:
− Guarantee the specificity and quality of training.
− Define the objectives and content of the training.
− Ensure the coherence of the program and the educational path.
− Possibly propose program developments.
− Validate the content of the modules produced so that the training is equivalent for each promotion.
− Carry out the educational assessment for the current year and ensure that the evaluations of the different modules are carried out.
− Produce activity reportsIntervene not only on training issues but also on broader issues relating to life and daily life.
− Keep up with current events to ensure student conduct and ethical learning.

The ESSACA Pedagogical Committee is constituted as follows:

− Members: the President of the Scientific Committee, the Educational Manager, ESSACA teachers, the ONAC representative, the student representative.

Coordination ofProfessors
The entire local teaching staff of ESSACA meets regularly in a body called Coordination of Teachers (COPROF).​ During the meetings, all issues related to the smooth running of the school are discussed as well as the level of progression of teaching for each level.​ The Teachers' Coordination also examines and decides on questions related to schooling and discipline.
